Cold Gas Spray (CGS)
Cold Gas Spray solutions offer significant cost-effectiveness for thick coatings (>50um) and possess excellent bonding strength and non-contaminating characteristics.
Cold Gas Spray is a mature physical coating technology, where high-pressure gas is preheated and passed through a nozzle to generate a supersonic gas jet. The powder is heated and accelerated, then impacts the substrate in a solid state, forming a deposit. It can be used both as a coating process or as an additive manufacturing technique.
Substrate:
Metal / Ceramic / Plastic, etc.
Additive Materials:
Copper / Tin / Silver / Titanium, etc.
